Day 26: Final Project Start

Today was the first full day of our proposal based, individual projects. Good ideas and plans all around and a lot of work to do in the final three weeks.

Day 25: Not-Totally-Natural Disaster

Time was not kind to our brand new room. One weekend was all it took. A loss in terms of safety and structure, but a total home run in terms of aesthetics and unintentionally narrative sculpture. The subsequent demolition took less than thirty minutes.

Day 24: Pancake Party

To celebrate our newly finished work, we held a public pancake party. The class measured the flour and oats, separated the eggs, whipped the whites, mixed the batter (two kinds), cut and washed the fruit, set the table, made the coffee, and awaited the feast with our cardboard masterpiece in the background. There was just enough time to fill the center of the school with the beckoning scent of hot flapjacks before the fun police shut us down. Our class is too hot to handle. Seriously.
